We had a beautiful day and night in your inn with the guestfamily of our son, who stayed for ten month in Japan.

Our japanese friends did like your inn and the nice Japanese
appartement very much too.

The world should know what a nice place one can find
in Takayama and in your wonderful inn.

We felt like being at home, although we were far away from Germany.

We stayed one night here and loved the place.
Great owners and a beautiful town.
We did the Kitayama walk (purple line on the "Wander Exploration Map")
and it was great. Check it out.
Then we saw the Aussies beat the Japanese in the football/soccer!!!
Could the day get any better?!?!?!

What a great place to stay!
Very cosy and welcoming.
Try the hobamiso beef at Suzuya just down the road - delicious!
We had a great stay here and highly recommend it.

Takayama tranquility was a pleasant change from the busy and
tiring days we had in Tokyo.

Picturesque temples and shrines of Takayama gave us an enlightening & peaceful experience.

The Hida Folk Villages and the Old Town provided us with
memorable images & wonderful insights into ancient Japan.

The Rickshaw Inn was a perfect place to enjoy our 3 days in Takayama.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The room was warm & cozy with a nice traditional touch.
It made our first experience of a Japanese Ryokan memorable one.
